In a corner of the blackboard, write Today’s Agenda,
followed by a list of activities or topics that will be covered in
the lesson. This will help you stay on target with the goals you
have set out in your lesson plan and will give the students a
sense of accomplishment (and relief!) as they complete each
item noted on the agenda. You can check off each item as it
is completed.
Include a fun activity at the end of the list. This can be
a riddle, a joke, a game or any of the activities found in this
booklet. The students will get used to expecting something
fun at the end of the lesson and will enjoy it immensely. As
an added bonus, they may also remain conscious in eager
anticipation thereof!
